Biography: Funeral services for Francine Whittenburg, of Angleton will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at FMBC Family Life Center, 523 N. Parrish in Angleton, Texas with Reverend Alonzo Brown Officiating/Eulogist.  Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery in Angleton 328 Cemetery Road, Angleton, Texas.  Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2021 at Gardner’s Funeral Home 507 W. Orange, Angleton, Texas.  On January 20, 1952, a precious baby girl was born to Bertha Harris Anderson West and Tommy Anderson in Taylor, Texas. They named her Francine. She was a committed member of the New Bethel Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board.  She loved the DALLAS COWBOYS, BINGO, playing cards and spending time with family and friends she especially loved cooking Sunday dinner which always included fried chicken. She was affectionately called Mrs. Francine by so many later evolved into "MAMA".  She worked at Angleton Danbury Hospital where she formed a lifetime friendship with Margie Bosquez. She was then an employee at Country Village Care in the activity department where all the residents loved her CARING HEART.  She leaves to cherish her precious memories her five daughters and one son; Teresa Walker (Archie), Lori Collins, Wynell Collins, Felicia Collins, Jamesa Whittenburg, Delvante Whittenburg. Three sisters;  Nancy Hall, of Houston, TX, Shirley Reagan, Jeanette Lovelace (James) both of Angleton, TX,  and Brenda West of Angleton, TX; seven step brothers Lester West, Jeff West, Tim West, John Sealy West, Alan West, Jimmy West, Leon West and (Robert West) proceeded in death all of Angleton TX.
