Sylvia Bradshaw, born Sylvia Brazle, was born to Mr. Willie Brazle and Mr. Gordon Brazle on November 25, 1965, in Houston. She graduated from high school in Houston, Texas, and also attended Texas Southern University. Sylvia got married; and from that union she had two sons named Nile Bradshaw and Russell Bradshaw.

Her parents predeceased her many years ago.

Sylvia leaves to mourn her memory four brothers, Wayne Brazle, Gordon Brazle, Jr., Oneil Brazle and Michael Brazle. She also leaves behind her sister, Helen Jean Jenkins. She had two other sisters named Willie Lois Greenwood and Bessie Mae Solomon who predeceased her. Melvin “Joe” Mitchell, 80, passed away Thursday, February 01, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his family. On September 10, 1937, a baby boy was born to K.J. Mitchell, Sr. and Pearlee Harold whom they named Melvin Mitchell. Melvin attended M.R. Woods High School and Jack Yates High School. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, and Rocking A-T Riding Club.
