Dexter Keith Royston, 55, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2018, at UTMB, Galveston Campus. He was born to Eunice Davis and Edna Royston, in Freeport, Texas. The Royston family would like to thank the many family and friends for their support. Visitation will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at Gardner’s Funeral Home at 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at First Missionary Baptist Church Freeport, 131 W. 4th St., Freeport, Texas; Bishop Jeffery Williams, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas. Final and Most Sacred Arrangements Entrusted To: Gardner’s Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas (979) 849-6379. Carl Dexter Williams, 63, of Lake Jackson, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2018 at Herman Hospital. His parents were the late J.J. Williams and Alma Williams. Dexter as he was affectionately called spent his childhood in the Mims Community. He attended the Sweeny Independent School District where he graduated in the Class of 1973. Dexter was blessed to have five wonderful children, all of whom loved him dearly. For 13 years, Dexter worked as an Operator, for Dow Chemical, after which time in 1993 he became owner and manager of Lonestar Motors, in Clute, Texas. Dexter had a passionate love of exotic cars. Will “Rooster” Bess, 80, passed away peacefully on July 04, 2018 at UTMB, Angleton Campus. He was born to Mr. Neal Bess, Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Urps Bess on October 16, 1937, in Bell Bottom, Texas. Beverly Ann Smith Joseph, 69 made her peaceful transition to be with her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2018 in Houston, Texas at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Gonzales, Texas on May 1, 1949 to Jesse Aaron and Roy Evelyn Smith. Beverly attended Edwards High School where she participated in cheerleading, band, and basketball she graduated from Gonzales High School in 1967.
