Biography: On the bright and blessed day of December 31, 1949, a bouncing baby boy was born.  The proud                   parents were Richard Harbor Sr. and Ella V. Harbor, in Torrance, CA.  They lovingly named him Stanley Harbor.
 
Stanley received his formal education from Wheatley High School, Houston, TX. 
Stanley later married the love of his life, a strong black woman, his soul mate.
A good thing (Romans 18:22) !  And that she was!  He married Patricia Ann Smith in 1981. To this                        union one son was born.  Stanley Harbor Jr.  Stanley was a wonderful father, and a great step father to his stepson Torrance Eugene Smith. He and Patricia together, also parented their grandson Camrrance K. Smith as their own. Stanley was a family man, and loved him “some Patricia”, they were inseparable. Patricia loved her husband, and never left his side.  Her love, commitment, and                  endurance was unfailing. 
Stanley accepted Jesus Christ into his life at an early age.  Later by Christian experience, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, of Houston Texas.  Stanley rededicated at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Larry D. Brooks Sr.   He was a faithful member until illness.
Stanley worked at Baylor College of Medicine as a Lab Tech for many years. He also was a Tractor Driver for the State of Texas.
Stanley loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved playing dominoes, and spending time with his grandkids!
Stanley made his final transition from this earthly life on Saturday April 15, 2023.
Stanley was preceded in death by his father and mother; Richard and Ella Harbor Sr. (brother)                   Richard Harbor Jr., (brother) Nathaniel Harbor, (sister) Thurlma  aka Stella Tigner, (brother) Charles Ray Jackson, (mother in law) Lula C. Preston, (son) Torrance Smith
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Patricia Ann Harbor, his son Stanley Harbor Jr., his sister, Jeannette Harbor, his seven grandchildren, Torrance Smith Jr., Quaneseica Smith, Camrrance Smith, Aiden Harbor, Gianni Harbor, Isaiah Harbor, Adrianna Weinkauf, and a host of cousins,   nieces, nephews, family and friends.
