Biography: Margaret Woodard Quiller, 90, of Angleton, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gardner’s Funeral Home 507 W. Orange St., Angleton, Texas. A Celebration of her Life will be held 1:00p.m.; Friday, March 18, 2022 at Burrell Chapel Baptist Church 190 Burrell Chapel Road, Angleton, Texas, and Rev. Elton Black, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Brazoria, Texas. She attended public school at Danbury Elementary School and Marshall High School. Having a relationship with God at an early age she was baptized and answered the call of salvation. In later years she united with Burrell Chapel Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her demise. She could be found faithfully serving as president of the Mission, Usher, and the Kitchen ministry. She realized God was the source and strength of all things in her life. Margaret united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Quiller. Their union was blessed with six children, which made her life fulfilling and complete. She cherished them and raised them with the unconditional love that only a mother can give. Her children would later give her adorable grandchildren and would give her great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, all of whom were absolutely the joy of her life. She provided domestic services to a number of employers. She loved her family and encouraged family gatherings; many of which she hosted. She was able to use her gift for cooking to bring happiness to her family and friends. Our holiday gatherings and get-togethers were always times when joking and laughter filled the room. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Quiller, Sr., her parents, Sandy and Bessie Mae Woodard, her children, James Woodard, Robert Runoalds, Perry Quiller, Charles Quiller, Willie Quiller, Jr., F.D. Quiller, and Viola White. She leaves a lifetime of precious and loving memories to her devoted children, Bessie Higgins, and Ary Wilson; her son, Lawrence Quiller (Sandra); her step-children, Ella Marrow, Lionel Quiller; her 24 grandchildren, and her abundant number of great grandchildren; her special nieces, Bernice Smith Woodard, and Mary Woodard Pierce; her special cousin Louella Wright; her godchildren, Jimmy Ruth Woodard, Jacqueline Coleman , Don Hall, Robert Jenkins, Gary Hall, and Winston Jones; also a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
