Biography: Barry Keith Caismere, Jr. departed this life on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Gardner’s Funeral Home 507 W. Orange St., Angleton, Texas, followed by a Celebration of his Life at 11:00a.m. Rev. Christopher Tyler, Officiating. Interment will follow at Paradise Memorial Cemetery, Brazoria, Texas. On Monday, July 19, 2021 at CHI St. Luke-Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, Texas, a baby boy was born at 4:43pm to Mr. and Mrs. Barry and Felecia Caismere whom they named Barry Keith Caismere, Jr.; he resided in Freeport, Texas with his loving parents. Barry, Jr., was often called Snookums, Buddy, Fat Daddy, Butterball, BJ, Hamhocks and Lit Barry by all those who loved him. BJ loved, to watch the cartoon Scooby-Doo, to play, to eat and also to look at himself in the camera but mostly he loved his mother and father. When they walked in the room and Barry heard their voices he would light up with joy. BJ was a very happy and loving baby. If you were having a bad day all you had to do was look at him and he would make your day so much better. He was definitely the calming mechanism to your storm. BJ was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, William and Lucy Mae Davidson, Sam Dickens and Mary Lee Woods; paternal great-grandparents, Charlie Sr., and Rena Mae Caismere, Anderson and Gertrude Thompson; step-grandfather, Gibson (Buddy) Granville; and paternal aunt, Angela Caismere.BJ, leaves to cherish loving memories to his loving parents, Barry, Sr. and Felecia (Gordon) Caismere of Freeport, Texas; his sibling, Baby Caismere; his maternal grandparents, Craig Woods, Sr., Angleton, Texas and Judy Davidson Granville, Freeport, Texas; paternal grandparents, Whitney Thompson, New Iberia, Louisiana, and Lola Caismere, LaMarque, Texas; a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives. Due to COVID-19 concerns, everyone is asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing.
