Biography: Darion Darnell Monroe departed this life on Monday, December 13, 2021 at his residence.      Visitation will be held Monday, December 20, 2021, from10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. at Gardner’s Funeral Home 507 W. Orange St., Angleton, Texas.  The Celebration of his Life will follow at 11:00 AM, Reverend Alonzo Brown, Officiant/Eulogist.              On Monday, December 6, 1971, Linda Monroe and William Addison became        the proud parents of a bouncing baby boy, whom they named Darion Darnell Monroe.  “Daro”, as he was called by family and friends, attended Angleton High School and graduated.   For more than 10 years Daro worked for the Texas Department Of Criminal Justice, he later became employed with Excel Company and remained a faithful employee until his health began   to fail him. Daro was preceded in death by his father, William Addison, Jr., his grandfathers, Marshall Monroe, and William Addison, Sr., his uncle, Marshall Monroe, Jr., his cousins, Christopher Monroe, Carlton Monroe Jr. and BreaZaye Stewart, and his very special step father Emmitt Turner.  Darion Darnell Monroe took his first step in glory on Monday, December 13, 2021 as he peacefully departed this life.  His memories will remain in the hearts of his mother, Linda Hall (Ned), his sons, Marquise Gardner, and DuQuan Monroe; his daughter Darion Monroe; his brother William Monroe, and sister LaWania Lenford; his  grandmothers, Henrietta Monroe and Evelyn Thomas; his aunts, Danita Perry, Rose Monroe Fontenot (Marlon), Sandra Monroe, Cheryl Addison, and Janetta Beasly; his uncles Ronald Monroe (Tracy), Larry  Monroe, Carlton Monroe, Carl Ray Addison, Dan Monroe, Kenneth Monroe, Dion Perry, Vernon Addison, Wendall Addison, and Gary Addison; there are a host of other loving family members and friends
