Biography: Ms. Linda Jo Davis, passed away peacefully, Monday; September 13, 2021, at Jennie Sealy Medical Center.  On September 14, 1959, a bright eyed, smiling baby girl joined the loving union of Mr. Clarence T. Davis Sr. and Alice B. Davis in Galveston, Texas.  She was preceded in death by parents and brothers: Lawrence Edward Davis, Henry Lee Davis, and Odell “Smokey” Davis.  Linda attended Galveston Public schools and graduated from Alvin Community College with a degree in Early Child Development.   Linda leaves many cherished and loving memories with her kids: Ishia Davis, CW3 “Retired Army” Kevin Davis (Miranda), Ebony Davis (Samuel Smith), Curtis Davis, Marquita Davis (Mike Reed), Regina Davis (Mike Smith) and Courtney Davis. Granny’s Grand babies: Tyrin, Aaron “Texas National Guard”, Kevin Jr “UTSA”, Dadrion, Malyshia, Tamia “College of the Mainland”, Isaiah “UTSA”, Elijah “Our Lady of the Lake University”, Demarrion “College of the Mainland”, BreAsia, Tatyanna “Virto Education”, Rachel, Jaylen, Lexce, Aiyana, Nicholas, Dallas, Aniya, Kaimen, Makayla, Mikese, Michael Jr, Messiah, My’King, and Scottland; brothers: SFC “Retired Army” Clarence T. Davis Jr., Curtis Davis (Martha); sisters: Betty Jenkins, Alice Green, Anita Taylor (Emmanuel), Evelyn, Sylvia Davis, Cathy Davis, and Elnora Carter; devoted friends: Doretha Hardiman and Tracey Hall and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be available on Friday, September 17, 2021, beginning at 3:00p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Gardner’s Funeral Home, 507 W. Orange St., Angleton TX 77515.  Linda’s family and friends will celebrate her Home Going, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Bible Way Outreach Church, 201 E Miller St, Angleton, TX 77515 with Pastor Alonzo Brown officiating.  Due to COVID-19 everyone is required to wear a mask, and practice social distancing
