Biography: Angela “Angie” Denise Thomas 54, of Angleton, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, at UTMB Hospital, Angleton Campus.  She was born to the late Herman Thomas Sr. and the late Ella Thomas in Angleton, Texas.  Growing up in a Christian home, she received Christ to be her personal Lord and Savior.   She was a member of Community of Love United Methodist Church formally Ward Chapel United Methodist Church.  Angie was a diehard George Strait and Dallas Cowboys fan. She was a Cowgirl who enjoyed rodeos, especially the Brazoria County Fair. As a high schooler, she enjoyed working cattle and faithfully showed animals as a member of the FFA at the Brazoria County Fair.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ella Thomas; sisters Eloise Thomas, Gail Thomas, Dale Thomas, Patricia Branch and Margie Hall; brother, Herman Thomas, Jr.; aunts, Dollie Mae Thomas, Cherrie Mae Ward and Mary King; uncles, Ernest Thomas, Moses McDonald, Howard McDonald, Robert Matthews, and Albert Matthews; nephew, Charles Monroe, Sr.  Angie is survived by her sisters, Artie Jackson (Alvaris Jr.), and Dodie Green (Gary) of Angleton; brothers, Larry Thomas Sr. (Mary) of Holiday Lakes, Robert Thomas (Linda) and Joseph Thomas, both of Angleton; God children: Jason Jackson, Timothy “Tim” Washington Jr., and Shana  “Shan Bow” Green; aunts, Evelyn Thomas of Angleton and Mary Matthews of Houston, Texas; uncle  John Henry Thomas (Linda) of  Brazoria; brother in law Roy Branch of Angleton, Texas, her dog Diamond, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.    Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Community of Love United Methodist Church, 425 N. Hancock, in Angleton, Texas. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at FMBC Family Life Center, in Angleton TX. There will be no viewing afterward.   Interment will follow at Blue Lake Cemetery in Long Pond, Texas.  Final arrangements entrusted to Gardner Funeral Home of Angleton, Texas.  Due to the COVID-19, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing
