Larry Tennyson

Biography: Larry was raised in Louisville, KY. He attended Louisville Male High School where he excelled in Track and Field earning him a college scholarship to Texas Southern University. In 1973, he married his high school sweetheart – Patricia Clark. During this union, he accepted his calling into ministry and bore two children.
Larry spent the remaining years residing in the greater Houston area. He served as a youth minister, welder and a contractor. In September 1999, he married his lifetime sweetheart, Gloria Diggs, and had one son to their union.
He used his gift as a Mentor to teach carpentry skills to others. He gave second chances and employment to many in the community.
He is survived by: Gloria Tennyson (Spouse), 6 children - Shannon Neal, LaTracie Reece, Larry Tennyson Jr. (Precious), Mark Tennyson, Asia Meador (Michael), and Stephanie Diggs. He has 13 grandchildren: Samuel, Chanel, Derrick, Cheina, Christopher, Avery, Aubrey, Max, Phoenix, Zaylen, Alaia, Savannah, Elijah, and a host of siblings, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: William Tennyson, Evelyn Taylor, Tyrone Tennyson, Milton Tennyson, Emily Northington, and Yerva Tennyson
