Biography: Carrie Louise Allen, 80, of Angleton, TX passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. She was born to Albert and Marie Allen on September 8, 1940. Carrie attended Marshall High School, in Angleton. She worked for the City of Angleton Parks Department for many years. At an early age, Carrie dedicated her life to Christ. She joined New Macedonia Baptist Church in Rosharon, Texas under the Leadership of Pastor Stredic, and later under the leadership of Pastor Carlton Wade. She served as the church clerk for many years, and attended faithfully until her health begin to fail. Carrie is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Marie Allen; her brothers, Freddie Lee Allen, and Willie Allen; her sister, Ollie Mae Allen, and her daughter, Mary Allen. She leaves to cherish her memories to her sons, Robert Allen, Terry (Quiency), Allen and John Allen; her brother, Lloyd Allen of Angleton, her sisters Betty (Eugene) Jackson of Arcola and Rosetta Bryant of Rosharon; her sisters-in-law, Ella Fay Allen, and Areola Keys Allen, both of Houston; her aunt Peggy (Leon) Thomas of Rosharon; her 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her best friend Hattie Mae Banks and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 572 CR 42, Rosharon, and the Celebration of her life will follow at 11:00am, with Reverend Larry D. Brooks, church pastor, officiating. Space is limited due to COVID-19 and masks are required. Interment will be at the Knights and Daughters Cemetery, Rosharon, Texas.
