Biography: Chris Douglas Cyprien, 60, of Friendswood, TX passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.   Chris was born on July 12, 1960, to the late Raymond Cyprien, Jr., and Melvia Cyprien.  At an early age, Chris accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Port Arthur TX.; he later joined the membership of Providence Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member until his demise. Chris was a proud 1978 graduate of Lincoln High School in Port Arthur.  He was employed at Cadence Bank, as Sr. VP of Treasure Management.   Chris met, and fell in love with Vanessa, and in 1985, they were united in Holy Matrimony.  To this union two children were born, whom he loved dearly.  Chris and his family, enjoyed life together as a loving family until his passing on November 24, 2020.  Chris maintained a strong work ethic in banking. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Cyprien, Jr., his grandparents, Milton and Dorothy Trainer, and his brother Charles Cyprien.  Chris leaves a lifetime of precious memories to his loving and devoted wife, Vanessa Cyprien, his two sons, Chance (Kaylor) Cyprien, and Chase (Kirby) Cyprien; his mother, Melvia Cyprien; his grandson Maddox, his brother, Cass (Cheryl) Cyprien; his nephews, Donald Ray (Kimberly) Willis and Cass Cyprien, II, and nieces, Raechelle Willis (Charles) and Carissa Cyprien; his beloved aunts, and a host of other loving family and friends.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 1501 CR 34, Chenango, Texas followed by his Funeral Services at 12:00pm.   Space is limited due to COVID-19 and masks are required.  Interment will be at the Providence Church Cemetery
