Celebration of life for Vickie Renee Hall, 66, of Missouri City, Texas, will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Gardner’s Funeral Home, 507 W. Orange, Angleton, TX, Reverend G.R. Holland, officiating.  Vickie, passed away peacefully, Wednesday August 12, 2020.  Visitation will be held from 2:00PM – 8:00PM on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Gardner’s Funeral Home. Due to the current situation concerning the COVID-19, the family is concerned about everyone’s health and safety, therefore attendance will be limited, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.  Vickie, was born on August 8, 1954, in Dallas, Texas to Roshon Fulbright and Annie Mae Dennis.  Vickie graduated from Belton High School in 1972 there she was a star volleyball player.  She later went to Blinn Jr. College and graduated in 1974, from there she attended Stephen F. Austin and graduated in 1976, (she pledged Zeta Phi Beta).  Vickie started working for the United States Post Office in 1977 until her retirement in 2017.  She enjoyed playing on the Post Office   Softball Team.  Vickie had a laid back soul, and was always a giver.  She was a light to everyone she met.  She loved and   enjoyed her family very much.  One constant thing in Vickie‘s life was her   continuously having a Coke-Cola in her hand.  Some of her hobbies were, playing cards, dominoes and softball.  She loved music and making tapes and CD’s, but most of all she liked criticizing her husband’s clothes only the ones she didn’t buy and she liked telling her husband what to.  On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, Vickie peacefully left this earth to reside in her heavenly home.  Vickie leaves behind to cherish her memory:  her     loving  and devoted husband Don, her children LaToya “Nurse Betty” (Dexter), LaShaundra (Jesse), Diondre’, Donald “Champ”, Brittney (Kenny), her grandchildren, JaCorey “Malek Aleem”, Tayle “TayTay”, Dexter “Lil Dex”, Kiera, KaBryn, Kynadi, Kyren, Aysia, Donielle “Nelly”, Diavion “D.D.”, and Donald “DJ”; her great grandchildren, Matthew “Stunk”, McKinley, and    Maddison, and a host of  special nieces and nephews. Pallbearers:  Ahmard Hall, Donald Monroe, Michael Morgan, Jr., James Davis, Jeremy Hall, and Darnell Mack, Jr.    

The children of Ann White are send our love and prayers to all of the Hall family. We know that our sister Vickie was lover and cherished by each of you and that she will be sorely missed. May her memories bring you solace. Our sincerest sympathie

I was heartbroken to hear of Vicki Renee's passing. She was a co-worker of mine at the US Postal Service. I remember her as a humble and sweet person always smiling. My condolences to her husband, children and family. I know she will be missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
