Biography: Min. Ernest Lee Fletcher was born to Alfred Fletcher and Jewel Holmes in Danbury, Texas, on September 10, 1949. Min. Fletcher was more affectionately called “Tank”. He would like to let you know that his work here is done. On Friday, November 30, 2019; he received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place. Laughter and love are guaranteed.
Tank’s greatest joys in life were his church, his family and friends. Whereas, his educational goal was accomplished at Marshall High School, after which he enlisted into the military.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Alfred Fletcher and Jewel Holmes, his grandparents and ex-wife Mary.
“Tank” leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved sons, Isaac Taylor, of Houston, and Derick Harris, of Angleton; his seven grandchildren, Domanicia Taylor, D’Andrae Harris, Kiana Harris, Dawan Taylor, Derick Harris, Jr., Kayviona Harris, and Maya Vega; three great grandchildren, a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends
