Thomas Don Caldwell Jr.
 On June 16, 1956 the Lord spoke and life began for Thomas Don Caldwell, Jr.,  he was born to Katie and Thomas Caldwell, Sr. in Freeport,  Texas.  He was affectionately called “Don” by all who knew him.

Don attended grade school at Henry O. Tanner in Brazoria,  and high school at  Columbia High School, in West Columbia.  Don confessed his love for Christ and united with First Missionary    Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend G.R. Holland.  Don was a lover of many things.  He was known for his love of Drag Racing and his race cars, along with Trail Riding.  He enjoyed and will be remembered for his love of spending time with his family and his friends.  Don was a jokester at heart, always had a joke or story to tell.  He enjoyed life.  During his lifetime he worked at the Maritime Association as a Longshoreman, in Local 1818 and 30.  Later in life he was the owner of Caldwell Delivery Service. 

Don is preceded in death by his parents, Katie Caldwell Pierce and Thomas Caldwell; brothers, Thomas Dale Caldwell, John Wesley Caldwell, Mitchell Caldwell, and sister Laurene Caldwell. 

He leaves to cherish his memories to his children, Joseph Davis (Jennifer), Donicho    Caldwell, and Porsche Griffin, all of Houston, Texas; brother, Ronald Caldwell (Audrey); sisters, Vivian Banks, Alma Oliver, Alice Dunford, and Luvada Caldwell; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
