 Memorial services for Sandra Ann Lewis 77, of Angleton, Texas, will be held on Saturday, March 09, 2019, at 1:00 P.M. at First Missionary Baptist Church, 522 W. Live Oak, Angleton, Texas.  Sandra grew up in Angleton. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1960, and continued her education at Prairie View A&M University where she became a Dietitian. After college, Sandra met her first love, Frank Williams, married, and had two beautiful daughters. Sandra worked as a cook for over 25 years. She enjoyed and had a passion for cooking, she exhibited her passion with her food preparation that her family and friends loved.   She joined Rocking AT Trail Riders Club in its earliest years and was known for her famous gumbo. As her life carried on, she retired from being a cook. Later she met and married her late husband Russelle Lewis.  Sandra was a TDCJ Correctional Officer for more than 13 years until her retirement.   Afterwards, Sandra was able to do more of the things she enjoyed such as spoiling her grandchildren, cooking, hosting family gatherings for Thanksgiving and watching the Dallas Cowboy Football games.  She was a die-hard Cowboy fan as well as a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Sandra is preceded in death by both her parents, Sherman and Mamie Shelton, her baby girl, Emily (Tina) Bee, her two oldest brothers George Shelton and Allen Shelton, her oldest sister Shirley Wallace, her husband Russelle Lewis, and great niece Zatesha Williams. Sandra leaves to cherish her wonderful memory to her oldest daughter, Theresa Williams Lotts (Jesse Lotts), 6 grandchildren, Jermaine Williams, Thurman Williams, Ryan Perales, Unique Quinn, Tre Bee, Taia Woodard and her three great grandchildren, Dezyna Williams, Little Jermaine Williams, and Jayla Williams. Her baby sister, Jewel Shelton Crump, her baby brother Von. H Shelton, her two aunts Lela Daniels and Gloria Owens, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
